Focus on Someone Else

When we are unhappy we tend to focus inwards and on all of the things we haven’t got, our losses, what other people have and we can start to dwell.  Of course if we have had a bereavement or a broken relationship then we need to allow ourselves time to grieve, that is different.

If you find that you are just generally unhappy with life this is when it’s good to start to look outside ourselves and start thinking what we can do for others, it can be small things, but they open doors to seeing what other people are going through.  Once you start creating a little happiness for others, you will soon start to forget about your own unhappiness and feel good about yourself.
