People stay in relationships that have long since gone stale for many reasons, unawareness, habit, fear of being alone, children even lethargy. Some think they are still happy the they’re not because they have been worn down over time, and can mistake love for comfort being grateful for small acts of kindness or a day with no rows.
First become aware of what is actually going on. How different is this relationship now from when you first met? Do you feel loved and valued still? If the answer is no. but you still want to stay there may be something you could change to make it better. Are you playing your part to value and love your partner or have you also gone off the boil and are participating in the negativity?
Your life is short and you deserve the best. Value yourself, love yourself and make changes to make your life as good as possible.
